Brantford, ON (May 17, 2024) – Jon Clark, Chairman of Titan Hockey Canada Corp., the company recently acquiring the GOJHL’s Brantford Bandits, announced today the rebrand of the team to The Brantford Titans.   

This strategic move leverages Titan’s already strong brand reputation, significant market presence, and fan experience that Brant County has come accustomed to since the inaugural season of the Paris Titans PJHL team in 2023.    The two organizations, although in distinctly separate leagues, will operate under one brand, which will be The Titans. “The brand of Hockey we plan to put on the ice in Brantford will be tough, skilled, and highly competitive.  This is what the Titan logo emulates.”  said Mike Christian, President and Co-Founder of Titan Hockey Canada.  “We plan to build relationships with the community and give young men local to Brantford the opportunity to compete at an elite level of Junior B hockey in their hometown.”  Added Christian, who believes that the Titans will bring a Championship caliber program to the GOJHL within the next 2 seasons.       

The Titan logo, seen below, was designed to reflect a fusion of the culture and incorporate colors that represent Brantford junior hockey.    

With the Brantford Titans at the Jr. B level, and neighboring Paris Titans competing at Jr C, the Titan Hockey program is certainly making its mark and staying true to its mission of player development.  “We’re excited to be affiliated with the Brantford Junior B program and believe it will help us attract more talent and develop our staff and players faster” mentioned Richard Towle, General Manager of the Paris Titans.    

Carrying two Junior hockey teams as an ownership group can seem challenging from the outside looking in.  But, when challenged on the “2-team strategy” Co-founder Clark quickly responded stating “The unification of our teams’ talents, expertise and vision on a business level is a significant step towards strengthening our league positions and delivering unparalleled game-day experience to the communities we represent on the ice.  Our goal is to do nothing less than set a new standard in Junior B and Junior C Hockey, ensuring our continued growth towards a championship at both levels.”  

With the Launch of the new brand, the Brantford Titans are completing their 2024-25 hiring plan, and will announce their executive and coaching staff in the upcoming weeks.
